For those that wondered whether continer figs can survive unprotected in Central Texas. These were stored on the east side of the house and are thriving. Five I just up-potted from 5 gallon pots also store outside with no protection. Also most of my 1 gallon survived in the micro-climate against the house and in-between the large containers. These actually broke dormancy before my inground trees.
