I feel less anxious each time I watch this video. 🧘‍♀️

Green spaces are so very calming 🌱

🍂 It may look and feel like fall outside, but inside it feels like summer 🌱

Not sure how long these flowers will hold on… but we’re going to find out. Will it be a freezing water source or cold temperatures that lead to their demise first? ❄️

All of the water up to this point has been collected rain water or excess from my dad trucking it over for the cattle. As of Friday the cattle are now on their winter pasture 🐄

There is no water well on property. All this, grown without an on site well using gravity to hand water them. 💦

My Dad is the real Hero, he works tirelessly to make my dreams come true and trucked in endless amounts of soil and water to build these beauties 🦸‍♂️

Please say a prayer for me, my father and Whistling Whimsy Farmstead. I’m praying a grant comes through to help purchase a well and better run the farm 🙏

A quote to put in a well was 30-40G 🤢

Rocky soil and the need to dig deep. Literally and spiritually. 🪏

As nervous as I am about how it will come to be. I know it will happen, I just gotta have faith it will work out ✝️

Somehow.

I’ll be back tomorrow to finish building up the daffodil bed and planting out garlic 🧄

Thankful for every moment and morsel of today!

The home garden provided. In an area left fallow blackberries have made an advance. I’ll cut canes for tea then transplant… next year 🤷🏼‍♀️

Some success was had with a sweet potato meant to grow in the North. They grew well under black porous fabric despite poor watering schedule. We will try this in a hoop house next year 🥔 🥔 🥔 🥔 🥔 🥔 🥔

The greenhouse needs a good straightening up and there’s a daunting amount of produce that needs to be picked and put up. 🧺 🍅 🌶️ 🍇 🥬

Garlic, daffodils and saplings need planting. 🥵

Good problems to have. 🙃
