Excited to be back at tonight! 🥳
Amy and I started doing pop-up events together around the same time back in 2018, and this journey has been extra special to me—not only because she’s one of my best friends, but because I’ve learned so much from her along the way.
She’s been such a source of support, encouragement, and wisdom, always sharing her insight and cheering me on in this crazy food world.

Meet the 🇱🇰 Sri Lankan cutlet!

For some, the word “cutlet” brings to mind a thin, breaded piece of chicken breast seasoned and typically fried. But for Sri Lankans, it instantly evokes memories of these irresistible “short eats” that are a staple at family gatherings, celebrations, and evening tea.
These bite-sized croquettes are traditionally filled with a spicy fish and potato mixture, coated in breadcrumbs, and deep-fried until golden and crispy. Growing up, my mom made beef cutlets, and those are the ones I remember eagerly waiting for as a kid.

So, this Saturday at , we’ll be serving both beef and mixed vegetable cutlets. They are served with a sweet and spicy tomato sauce. Swipe through to see a photo of my beautiful mom making them for our evening tea.❤️

🌶️ ON THE MENU:

Curries: All curries are served with basmati rice and a side of Dhal (creamy red lentil curry cooked in coconut milk) and Kale Mallung (Kale and coconut stir fry salad)

🐓Chicken- A traditional spicy curry simmered with a touch of coconut milk
(Halal, Nut free, Dairy free, Gluten free)

🐐Mutton - Tender pieces of goat meat cooked with Sri Lankan spices into a spicy curry (Halal, Nut free, Dairy free, Gluten free)

🥜 (sorry, no Cashew emoji😁) - A creamy and slightly crunchy curry cooked with turmeric, aromatics and coconut milk
