🌾 Happy National Farmers Day! 🐄🌅

No stock photos. No generation. Just a text overlay over a beautiful sunrise at Fox Chase Farm, captured TODAY by one of our very own farmers! 📸 Bill Nariskus

Behind every harvest, every healthy animal, and every thriving farm are hardworking people who show up every day to make it happen.

At Fox Chase Farm, our farmers also help inspire the next generation through hands-on agricultural education. 🌱

💚 Today, we’re celebrating them! Drop a 🌾 to show our farmers some love!

A little sunshine, a LOT of weeds, and some amazing volunteers! 🍓🌱

A huge THANK YOU to WSFS Bank and the Rotary Club of Northeast Philadelphia/Rockledge/Cheltenham for rolling up their sleeves and helping us tackle the strawberry patch at Fox Chase Farm!

Despite the unusually warm October weather, these incredible volunteers showed up ready to work, and our garden is looking better because of it!

Community partnerships like these help our farm continue to grow, educate, and bring people together. 💚

🍓 Want to get your hands dirty for a good cause? Come volunteer with us!

She’ll be helping us grow our major events and fundraising efforts, including developing the Blue Jean Gala into an annual signature celebration supporting the Farm’s educational mission.

She may be a Chicago Bears fan, but we’ve decided to welcome her anyway. 😉 Go Birds! 🦅

We’re excited to see the connections, ideas, and memorable experiences Kali brings to the Farm. Drop a 👋 in the comments to help us welcome her!

Congratulations to our Farm Administrator, Dr. Mandy Manna, on being named a 2026 Window Keeper by PA Humanities!

The Window Keeper: Civic Honors recognizes Pennsylvanians whose everyday actions strengthen communities and sustain civic life. Dr. Manna was recognized in the area of Education, an honor that reflects the work she has dedicated herself to throughout her career.

At Fox Chase Farm, we see that work every day.
From creating hands-on agricultural learning experiences and introducing students to AgTech and sustainability, to building career pathways, partnerships, and new opportunities for young people across Philadelphia, Dr. Manna continues to push the boundaries of what agricultural education can be.
We’re incredibly proud to see her leadership and impact recognized across Pennsylvania.

Congratulations, Dr. Manna! 💚
