“Hello Nurse”
Earlier this month I dropped a trio of teas. I came up with the teas last year, but they took a while to come out because of the tariffs. The timing allowed me to get things right, like enlisting the help of talented local, (͡° ͜ʖ ͡°), who absolutely crushed the mission. Tony’s colors and old school design illicit a feel-good era in my mind. I don’t know what the secret sauce is, but it is classic. Anybody else looking to add a little charm in their life should hit up Tony for work!
Repeat Customer is a breastfeeding tea with fennel and fenugreek doing the heavy lifting. Other nourishing herbs round out the mix, like oatstraw, nettle, and alfalfa. I’ve been drinking it a lot lately and can feel myself getting stronger! 💪
It was originally made along with another new tea, Pregnancy Club, to accommodate the customers that tend to stumble into the tea shop after visiting the world famous Nesting House next door.
Vinyl pairing is Basia Bulat’s beautiful record from 2007 “Oh, My Darling,” a favorite of mine from my college days. Basia is coming around in the fall and puts on a mesmerizing live show, so keep her on your radar!
Repeat Customer, along with the other new teas, is a tea shop exclusive for now. It may find itself on the website in due time, but given how long it took to finish I wouldn’t hold my breath waiting for the URL.
Fun fact: Tony’s wife Ellen Manning has art on the Bootleggin’ Legend tin. They are now the second married couple to each have artwork on Craft Tea tins (joining myself/little ditty).
