“Gone To Market”
Honored to be a part of this year’s Smithsonian Folklife Marketplace! One week left to check it out! See below for more info 👍
Shop, make, and connect at the Smithsonian Folklife Marketplace this summer. ☀️
The Marketplace is bringing together artists and makers from across the United States in a place where culture is not just displayed but actively exchanged—a living expression of craft, creativity, and community.
Throughout this retail pop-up, you will find products thoughtfully created through the lens of cultural heritage—from small-batch elderberry syrups made from farms in the Ozarks to birch bark designs inspired by Eastern Woodlands culture, to custom fabric bags honoring the local language of the Northern Marianas Islands.
The Marketplace is located in the Smithsonian’s Arts and Industries Building on the National Mall in Washington, D.C. Admission is free, and the Marketplace runs every Tuesday through Sunday (10 AM-5 PM) until July 12.
