Last night the 4th cohort of our Future of Service Apprenticeship Program completed a major milestone and graduated from the program. 🎓✨🥳 This group hit the ground running, determined to learn as much as they possibly could. They stepped up to the challenge and blew us away with their confidence and capabilities. It was so encouraging to watch them grow and learn these past 16 weeks and we’re so excited to see all they accomplish in their future endeavors.

Last month, Tess was interviewed by Haley Jordan at the Department of Commerce about our Future of Service Apprenticeship Program and the importance of Fair Chance Hiring in Philly. She talks about creating an ecosystem of support for unhoused and justice impacted people and the many reasons why investing in the reentry workforce is so crucial for our city. We’ve been a Fair Chance Employer since we opened in 2019 but with the launch of the Future of Service Apprenticeship Program in 2024, we formalized and deepened our commitment to supporting the reentry workforce.
