We’re celebrating BIG today on Earth Day! 🌎 We’re honored to share that JAM Hospitality Group is now a 3 Star Certified Green Caterer® through the Green Restaurant Association, making us the first in the Greater Philadelphia region to earn this distinction!

The Green Restaurant Association sets one of the most comprehensive standards for sustainability in hospitality, looking at everything from waste and recycling to energy, water, materials, and overall environmental impact.

At JAM, we believe in being intentional about the impact of our work and the responsibility that comes with bringing people together at this scale. It’s in the choices we make, from composting and recycling to cutting back on plastics, investing in more efficient equipment, and planning more carefully to reduce waste.

More importantly, it reflects something we’ve always believed: exceptional hospitality and environmental responsibility can and should go hand in hand!

Earning this certification is a meaningful milestone for our team, and a moment we’re really proud of. At the same time, we know this work is ongoing and always evolving. We’ll keep learning, refining, and finding better ways to do what we love.

We’ve got some big news...JAM is now a preferred partner at Johnson’s Locust Hall Farm! 🌻

As you drive down the tree-lined lane, the property starts to reveal itself, with stretches of preserved farmland in every direction and wide open skies above. This is land that’s been worked and cared for over many generations, and remains an active farm for that legacy to continue.

Every part of your special day unfolds in a setting deeply tied to New Jersey’s agricultural roots. Getting ready takes place in the farmhouse mansion, ceremonies are set against rolling pastures, and celebrations flow into the historic barns. It’s a place that carries a real sense of pride. You feel it in the land, in the story, and in the generations who have shaped it.

At Anthony Wayne House, it’s always been about gathering. ✨

Built in 1724, this historic home was home to the same family for seven generations, shaped by everyday moments, milestones, and time spent together. Three hundred years later, that same sense of togetherness is still at the core, shaping the celebrations being held here today.

Maintained by the Philadelphia Society for the Preservation of Landmarks (), Anthony Wayne House remains a place people can truly experience, with each event supporting the work that keeps spaces like this preserved and part of how people come together for generations to come!

A year of progress 🌎

We’re excited to share our 2025 JAM Impact Report, highlighting the sustainability work we continued to build across our kitchens, venues, and team.

This past year included real, tangible steps forward:�🌿 $3.3 million generated our for nonprofit venue partners across the region�🌿 More than 50,000 pounds of food scraps composted�🌿 Renewable energy investments at our venues�🌿 More time spent as a team learning, asking questions, and finding better ways to operate

Patiently waiting for these frozen grounds to turn into lush greenery again at Bishop Farmstead, where sunshine feels even sweeter and every celebration is surrounded by something truly meaningful. ❤️ This historic property is cared for by the Pinelands Preservation Alliance, an organization devoted to protecting the Pinelands region through conservation, education, and stewardship of this rare and beautiful landscape. Set beside Rancocas Creek Farm, Bishop Farmstead is framed by open skies, quiet fields, and the kind of natural beauty that makes every gathering feel connected to something bigger. Counting down the days until the trees fill in, the grass turns bright again, and this farmstead is glowing with life and celebration.

POV: It’s 2016✨ Chalkboard signs and calligraphy wood boards welcome guests as they arrive, rose gold details show up throughout the space, and everything feels carefully pulled from Pinterest. Cocktail hour brings signature drinks and friends asking for a quick photo together using the Snapchat dog filter. You dance the night away to Closer and Uptown Funk. The next morning, you tap your wedding hashtag and there it is, the entire day told back to you, one square at a time.

Looking back brings a lot of smiles. Trends change, details evolve, and styles shift over time. What stays the same is the feeling of a room full of people coming together to celebrate something meaningful. That joy, that energy, and that sense of connection continue to be at the heart of why we do what we do!

There’s a Swedish word, hemma, that means home. 💛 For 100 years, the American Swedish Historical Museum has been the hemma for Swedish and Nordic culture in Philadelphia. Founded in 1926, ASHM is the oldest Swedish American museum in the country, sharing art, design, folklore, and traditions that span centuries.

Events at ASHM invite guests to wander the galleries, move from room to room, and spend time with the stories found within its walls. History weaves into conversation, bringing Nordic heritage into the gathering itself.

In turn, every event hosted at American Swedish Historical Museum plays a role in caring for the museum. Celebrations help sustain exhibitions, support educational initiatives, and allow cultural programming to continue growing and evolving. Here’s to ASHM’s centennial year, to the legacy built over the past century, and to a cultural home that continues to be shaped by the people who gather within it! 💯💯💯
