Ranmie Global Cuisine: A Journey of Growth and Purpose
Ranmie Wilson is originally from West Africa, Liberia, and came to the United States at the age of 11 in 2007. Now 30 years old, her story is one rooted in resilience, culture, and a deep love for food and service.
The inspiration behind Ranmie Global Cuisine began in the home, where her mother first introduced her to the art of cooking. That foundation sparked a lifelong passion. Over time, that passion grew through self-teaching, learning from YouTube recipes, studying different cooking techniques, and experimenting with flavors to create dishes inspired by both Liberian heritage and global cuisine.
In 2018, while commuting to Penn State Abington, the first steps into the food business began as a way to support college expenses. That journey continued after transferring to the Community College of Philadelphia. What started as a small effort for financial support gradually transformed into a deeper calling that is centered on food, culture, and service.
The business was first established as Ranmie Food Store, reflecting its early stage of offering simple food access and meal options. As the vision expanded into full meals, catering services, private chef experiences, and a more refined culinary direction, the brand evolved into Ranmie Global Cuisine. The new name represents growth, a global identity, and a commitment to serving diverse communities with excellence and intention.
As the business continues to grow, the service model is being refined to better serve clients with safety, privacy, and efficiency, while still meeting the needs of busy professionals, business owners, and families who desire quality meals without the time to prepare them.
Business Model Updates
To better serve clients moving forward, the following changes are now in place:
Shipping Only: Ranmie Global Cuisine now operates exclusively through shipping services.
No Local Services: Local pickup and in-person delivery are no longer available.
Platform Availability: Third-party platforms such as DoorDash and Uber Eats are currently inactive for ordering until a physical storefront is established. Pages may still appear visible as “unavailable” or “order later,” but no orders are being processed through these platforms at this time.
Customized Menu Options: Specialized meal selections are now offered, allowing clients to choose preferred meats, spices, and flavor profiles.
ALREADY COOKED MEALS : are also available, prepared with the selected meats of choice and ready to ship.
Nationwide Service: Catering and private chef services are available across all 50 states for both in-state and out-of-state events.
A heartfelt thank you is extended to everyone who has supported this journey over the years. This new chapter is entered with gratitude, excellence, and purpose, with a continued commitment to serving every meal with care and intention. God bless you.
