Fresh, Local, and Real – Downtown State College Farmers Market | July 17, 2026 🌽🍓

Body:

This Friday, July 17, 2026, from 11:30 AM to 5:30 PM, downtown State College invites you to skip the middleman and meet the people who actually grow your food. No frills—just real farmers, real produce, and real connections.

Come face-to-face with the hands that plant, nurture, and harvest. Your local growers aren't faceless corporations—they're neighbors who steward the earth with care, tend their animals humanely, and bring you naturally grown, wholesome food just for you.

🌱 What you'll find:

· Sun-warmed heirloom tomatoes and sweet corn
· Crisp greens, fresh berries, and seasonal fruits
· Pasture-raised meats, farm-fresh eggs, and raw honey
· Artisan breads, small-batch jams, and handmade goods

But the real highlight? The people behind the tables. Take a moment to chat with your vendors. Ask about their journey, their challenges, their favorite crops, or what made them fall in love with farming. We think you'll be genuinely surprised by what you learn—and you'll never look at your produce the same way again.

Bring your reusable bags, your curiosity, and an appetite for stories as rich as the food itself.

📍 Where: Downtown State College (on Locust Lane, between College & Beaver)
📅 When: Friday, July 17, 2026 | 11:30 AM – 5:30 PM

Come for the food. Stay for the stories. See you there! 🌿

Happy Arts Festival!
Downtown State College Farmer’s Markets Celebrate Half a Century
Painting with Nature’s Palette
State College comes alive with the Central Pennsylvania Festival of the Arts, we invite you to celebrate another extraordinary group of artists.

They don’t paint with oils or watercolors.

They don’t sculpt marble or cast bronze.

Their canvas is the earth.

Their palette is the changing seasons.

Their brushes are their hands, their hearts, and generations of knowledge passed from one family to the next.

Every tomato, bouquet of flowers, loaf of bread, handcrafted candle, cup of coffee, jar of preserves, bottle of lotion, and fresh ravioli begins as an idea. Through patience, dedication, and countless hours of work, those ideas become works of art that nourish our community.

This year marks our 50th season of the Downtown State College Friday Farmers Market, and while the market happens on Fridays, the work of our vendors never stops.

We encourage you to please visit their websites, learn their stories, follow them online, and support them throughout the year.

Moser’s Fresh Garden Produce 🍅🌱

Some vendors become more than familiar faces—they become friends. And some become local legends.

At the Downtown State College Farmers Market, many people know Mr. Moser simply as “the Tomato Guy”—a well-earned title that comes from his incredible knowledge, passion, and expertise with heirloom tomatoes.

For Mr. Moser, growing tomatoes is more than farming. It is an art form. Each variety has its own story, flavor, color, and personality. From carefully selecting seeds to nurturing each plant through the growing season, his dedication transforms the garden into a living palette of nature’s finest creations.

Beyond tomatoes, Moser’s Fresh Garden Produce brings the beauty of seasonal agriculture directly to our community, sharing fresh harvests and generations of farming knowledge with customers who have become friends.

That is what makes our farmers market special: the people behind the produce, the conversations across the table, and the relationships that continue to grow season after season.

We are grateful for Mr. Moser, his family, and the many years of friendship they have shared with our market community.
