This week we had the pleasure of welcoming 4th graders from Phillips, Park Falls and North Lakeland Elementary for farm tours. We love to share information about the dairy industry with the kids and see their excitement as they tour the farm. A favorite is when we have the bus drive right into the barn in the feed alley and the kids get to see the cows up close. They also stop by the calf barn, milking parlor, sit in the chopper, and then end upstairs with presentations for their soil essays and an ice cream treat! We also took a picture of the "last" of the 5th generation of Pesko family to be in 4th grade - Bree Harper- with her parents Bill and Kristen.

Today marks 115 years of family farming for the Pesko family. The farm property was purchased on this day, April 24, 1911 from the Bohemian Land Company. We are on our fourth generation of farmers on this land. Similarly, the Jasurda family also celebrates 115 years of farming in 2026. Together the Pesko and Jasurda families created United Pride Dairy in 1996 and are celebrating 30 years of family partnership this year.
