**Kitchen Update**

We'll start to ship again on 9/19/22 based on our workspace being 100% completed. Finally!
The site will open up again for orders on 9/12 and ship the following week.

*Announcement*
Starting this Thursday (7/21) we'll be closed again for an undetermined amount of time to have the cabinets, floor and some more repair work done in our kitchen.
We'll announce when we are back up operating again.

It's been a trying year for us and we are staying as strong as we can with this repair. The silver lining is that it'll be amazing when it is all done and we can move forward when completed.

Update: Based on the renovations and the ability to get our kitchen repaired, we're extending our closure for the month of March as well. We are just as upset about this as you are. As soon as we have more updates we'll post them here and on the website.

Well, we knew this day was coming after announcing that we had some damage in our kitchen and repairs will be taking place.

Here is our statement:
Effective 1/31 (today) we'll be closed for seasoning production and shipments for the month of February. Smoked cheese is available for pick up or delivery.

**Update on Holiday shipping.**
Due to last years "mail blunder" from the USPS, this year shipping in time for Xmas cutoff is Wednesday Dec 15th. After that we can't assure you that you will get it in time for Xmas.
We are being extra cautious with shipments and would like to get them out early rather than later so that we have the necessary days to get it to you, wrapped and under the tree.
Think ahead if you're ordering and get your orders in early!
Curbside pick up will be available here right up to Thursday 12/23.

As some of you know, last year we started smoking cheese and it was awesome. We did sell some locally and had such great feedback that we set a path to being able to ship this year.
We are at that point that shipping is possible. We have found some really nice thermal mailers that will have a frozen gel ice pack in it with the cheese for transport.
If you want to see what is available now and what is "resting" (we have to wait 30 days for it to mellow out) you can check out the pre-orders and place your selections at www.abovethecoals.com
If you are local and picking up, choose the "Local" cheese section and if you need it shipped, choose 'shipping."
