This Earth Day deserves a big splash. Husch has finished a landmark conservation plan dedicating 20 million gallons of water each summer for the endangered salmon in the Navarro River. It took 15 years of collaboration with The Nature Conservancy, Trout Unlimited, and the Mendocino County Resource Conservation District to convert this vision into reality. The project is now seen as a statewide template for future farmer-conservation partnerships with the goal of restoring our native salmon populations.
When we arenāt making the big splash, we are still pushing the envelope for sustainable practices in the vineyard. Since 1976 our family has farmed with a commitment to regenerative, earth-friendly practices with a deep respect of the land and watershed. These methods include no-till farming, carbon sequestration, insect friendly habitats, and water conservation. Every day we work with the land to produce stronger vines, better wines, and a healthy environment. Not just on Earth Day. Every Day.
Andā¦just for fun we have a few Earthy Red wine packages available at huschvineyards.com š·
