TOTALLY OBSESSED with this new Lambrusco Rosé from &

If you plan to serve w**e at your Thanksgiving related dinner next week, please, POUR THIS. Need something to hand to guests as they arrive? THIS. A pairing with appetizers? THIS. Want to use it during the meal? Perfect. Use THIS.

When a w**e screams cranberries like this one does, it's basically an industry cheat code for "Thanksgiving W**e." With the brightness of all that red fruit alongside the balanced effervescence of the bubbles, plus some subtle earthiness that only Italy can bring to the table (or shall I say glass)? Ah, heavenly. Definitely my pet favorite right now.

Guys. I was humbled. I knew it had been a while since truly blind tasting some w**es, but damn, gave me a thrill being faced with my own humanity a few months ago at a blind tasting event he held at his Bellevue bottle shop and events space, **eco

Thank you Jackson for sharing your knowledge and expertise all while effortlessly NOT making me feel bad for calling exactly zero of the w**es.

It's good for us all to get out of our comfort zone sometimes! And let's remind everyone what a truly is 😍

Shameless / .w**es collab post, featuring the fabulous Fig & Olive, chez Lippincott.

As a lifelong dog lover I had to call in the reinforcements to obtain some kitty content, but boy do I have a place in my heart for the cats I am lucky enough to get to know. Love is love right??

This curious pair seem to be mightily interested in this Aussie Mencia from that was in the Mineralista W**e Club a while back. I don’t blame them! It’s a delightful red with a bit of body that wasn’t allowed to go too over the top as it is made in the ‘joven’ style and sees minimal oak, which preserves its natural freshness. Any tool to keep Aussie w**e in check is good in my book!

I love a good story, and the Oliver Family delivers! Their history in the beautiful McLaren Vale dates back nearly 200 years to when their ancestor William Oliver picked up and moved his wife and 2 children from Scotland to Australia after buying an unseen parcel of land. Together with his 10 children he began a family legacy that continues to this day. His motives for the global move are unclear, but what is clear is that they are making excellent w**e in a beautiful place, as a family. Female w**emaker Corrina Wright at the helm.

The most whimsical w**e experience anyone could ask for! told me all about her friends Gee Gee, Samm, and Marge, and The Pét-Nat Party they all regularly attend together (can I come?!). Plus their ironic retelling of the story of Philip the Bold, who banned Gamay production in Burgundy back in the 1300s, and who is now paying the price by having his name and 'likeness' smacked across a label of you guessed it, GAMAY!

It's so exciting to find w**eries like **e because not only is their juice solid and clean, but their commitment to sustainability is inspiring. These w**es are all from their Incubator Series: "The incubator series pushes boundaries of wild ferments and blends. These w**es are low intervention and Innovative made to be funky & exciting."

Looking forward to adding these to my virtual shelves soon. Thank you for the visit, Maggie!

Ever heard of the grape called Madeleine Angevine??! Well makes a lovely one, and it is sourced locally from their organic and sustainable estate vineyard on Portuguese Hill to boot. It usually comes as a surprise that while most of Washington's w**eries have a tasting room and even their w**ery location west of the mountains, 99% of the grapes grown in Washington State are sourced from vineyards east of the mountains. That big bold Cab Sauv you love? Yeah, fat chance that guy will ripen with our cool and wet maritime climate over here. But plant an early ripening variety like Madeleine Angevine (originally from the Loire Valley in France) and you just might be able to live on our rustic coastline AND make w**e in a more sustainable way (no trucking those precious grapes across the mountain pass!). No judgement to those who source from the east and live in the west, but as we all look for more sustainable ways to enjoy the world around us, it gives me something to think about.

Snapped this pic on my recent trip to the Olympic Peninsula, at Port Townsend Vineyard's downtown waterfront tasting room. This was a rare outing for me in PT; tbh my good friend Sarah, who I stay with when I'm in town, and I usually just drink our w**e in her home kitchen! But we played tourist and treated ourselves to an afternoon out on the town. We shared a flight of several of their w**es and the Madeleine Angevine really stood out to me, both in flavor and story. Highly recommend grabbing a table outside to enjoy the crisp air and this amazing view next time you're in PT! And if it's stormy out, their big comfy leather chairs inside would surely do the trick.

A few weeks ago I had the immense pleasure of presenting what essentially became a 3 hour masterclass (😱🥳) on 6 amazing w**es from all around the world to a wonderful group of people on the Olympic Peninsula. Hosted at a lovely home overlooking the Straight of Juan de Fuca in Sequim WA, the group of us went on a journey through villages & continents, grapes & vineyards, terroir & cellars... sipping and chatting along the way. As I continue to build out the events side of Mineralista, it's groups like these that truly inspire me. We all love a glass of w**e, but when we can actually learn about the people who made it and why they dedicate their lives to their own unique terroir, w**e becomes so much more than a beverage. And sharing it with likeminded folks, well that's the icing on the cake.

Bubbles the old fashioned way! Traditional practices in the vineyard and w**ery that still yield a delicious and consistent product. That’s what we are after at Mineralista!

History abounds at the Mas Goma estate. Not only are all of their w**es made in traditional ways, but their estate consists of a farmhouse that dates back to the 1700s, and a small Romanesque church called Saint Valenti built in 1135. The Vendrell family has owned this land since 1918 and has been tending the vines ever since.

🍇 Grape: Macabeo 100%

📍 Region: Penedès, Spain

🌱 Farming: Organic, Biodynamic, Sustainable, single vineyard 70 year old Macabeo vines

🍷 W**ery: Ancestral method: spontaneous fermentation with wild yeast, aged 6 months on lees in stainless before disgorgement, unfined/unfiltered, zero sulfites

PASTA APPRECIATION POST! 🥰🍝🙌🏻
Thank goodness I started using the Meta Business Suite when I did, otherwise I would have completely missed that it is NATIONAL PASTA DAY TODAY.. OMG. Quelle horreur.

Pasta has long been a favorite food of mine, but as I become a more true and concentrated version of myself with each passing year, man, pasta is where it's at. And it's one of the most fun things to pair with w**e. It always works. Whether you're craving red, white, or something in between, it's like pasta and w**e were made for each other. (They kind of were... but more on that another time!)

The photos here are a collection of my favorite pasta creations from the past year or so 🤤 Yes I own an online w**e shop, but what is w**e without food?!

1. Dinner party with friends
🍝 Strozzapreti with PNW chanterelles and ricotta
🍷 Domaine Jean-Yves Millaire -- 'Chateau Cavale' Rouge
2. Dinner party with friends x2
🍝 Strozzapreti with PNW chanterelles and ricotta
🍷 Domaine des Escaravailles -- Rasteau 'Heritage 1924'
3. Pesto from scratch!
🍝 Tagliatelle with homemade walnut & kale / chard pesto from a friend's garden
🍷 Wasn't in the drinking mood if you can believe it so the pasta went solo!
4. A true perfect pairing
🍝 Pappardelle with sausage & caramelized fennel and onion
🍷 Giacomo Fenocchio -- Langhe Nebbiolo
5. SATC makes a perfect TV dinner complete
🍝 Spaghetti with homemade alfredo sauce & freshly harvested garden greens
🍷 Clos Henri -- Estate Pinot Noir
