Standing Tall Farm

Standing Tall Farm We grow heirloom varieties of a wide range of vegetables, and adhere to low input, pesticide/chemical Our Methods. Our goals. What you can expect from us.

Someday Farmers specialize in growing heirloom varieties of a wide range of vegetables, flowers, and herbs. We invite you to join us for the 2016 growing season in Phippsburg! We have limited availability for the summer CSA program, so join up now and start receiving farm-fresh produce as soon as our first harvest! We adhere to a low-input, no pesticide method that is not "certified organic". We d

o not believe in certification as a means of guaranteeing the safety, quality and healthiness of food. Instead, we use methods of growing that are closer to nature, using our own compost created on site with local materials, harvesting rainwater for irrigation, using no till planting and cover cropping to maintain soil health, and other processes that help mother nature do what she does best. Providing a meal to a friend is always a good experience. To be able to provide a friend with most or all of the produce they need is an amazing one! We are dedicated to the health of our community's people and resources as well as maintaining a sustainable bounty of nature's most delicious foods. We hope to expand our production throughout the year to be able to offer year round shares to families that are interested in the best local foods, even in the coldest months. We love to eat. We love to cook and we love trying new things. If you are with us for the season you can expect solid "staple" veggies like lettuce, tomatoes, cucumbers and zucchini along with new things to try (okra & ground cherries!). We will provide some of our favorite recipes for your family to enjoy and welcome your recipes to add to our own. Hot Pepper Club coming in 2017! Our location. Edgewater Farm has a rich history. Once the summer home to governor Edge of New Jersey, it is now Edgewater Farm B&B, owned by Bill and Carroll Emerson for over 20 years. We are very excited to join the community of Phippsburg and look forward to hosting you and yours at some of our planned Farm Day gatherings where we will build birdhouses or toad homes or even a deer scare you could use at home. Looking forward to sharing the bounty,

Your farmers,
Ismael, Julianne, Evelyn and Coraline
