Dave and I moved onto the next great cake holiday - ok, I moved on and dragged Dave with me! Per Lisa Sommer Devlin’s suggestion- the Hurricane for Mardi Gras!! We tested the original cocktail recipe for our Valentine’s celebration! I liked it! I will make this in the carafe size - serves four.

I love baking these cakes. I love soaking these cakes. But my favorite part is handing customers their gift bags! I feel like the Valentines Fairy! Merry December 16! Today is my 2nd Annual Winter Holiday Cocktail Cakes Debut!!! I’ve been waiting for today with eagerness to share my new flavors. But truthfully, I’ve had concerns also. I’ve been so sensitive to the utter bombardment of ads to BUY BUY BUY. I was conflicted about joining the fray.

But I love selling my cakes! I feel they bring joy to people!! Several clients have called to place orders and that pushed me firmly into my true beliefs:
I believe in joy, capitalism, booze, great cakes and small business! I believe in striving!

So here are my 2021 Winter Holiday Boozy Cakes! Available until January 31.

SALTED CARAMEL MARTINI - my foundation flavor! Soft inside, kinda crispy edges, deep boozy caramel favor.

PEPPERMINT TWIST - hints of chocolate and berries smooth out the cool bite of peppermint booze!

GODIVA CHERRY CORDIAL - a personal favorite flavor combination since my childhood, captured in a sophisticated, boozy cake.

GINGERBREAD MARTINI - old fashioned spices and flavor in a modern presentation, perfect for any festive affair

I’m doing two sizes this season:

Carafe size - a mini bundt, serves 4 nicely, can also be sliced for six small servings $30

Punchbowl size - this is a traditional big bundt cake, but I’ve chosen unusual, gorgeous patterns!
Serves 8 to 10 nicely, can be sliced for sixteen smaller servings $68
