When I first picked up The Umbrella Academy it was because two of my favorite artists were working on it (Gabriel Ba and James Jean), and it was being released by Dark Horse Comics. It quickly became apparent that the writing was JUST as amazing as the art work. The story was weird in all the right ways and I couldn't wait to get my hands on the next issue.

I wanted to celebrate The Umbrella Academy getting it's own Netflix show in the best way I knew how - by turning one of my favorite scenes into a cake! If you haven't read the comic, I apologize for spoilers. You NEED to go pick it up ASAP.

This edible piece of artwork is comprised of our Blessed by the Bayou cake with dark chocolate ganache, modeling chocolate, and detachable colored white chocolate brain pops. I went with bright colors over the more muted tones of the comic. I wanted to put my own spin on things.

Fantastic Bakes and Where to Find Them presents Drop Cookie Mixes and Sample Boxes just in time for the holidays! All flavors are available for purchase immediately through Facebook and on Etsy Wednesday, 6 December, 2017.

All flavors come in kits. This means that everything you will need is included MINUS cold items such as eggs and butter. Some cookie mixes will have multiple ingredients that are packaged in individually to preserve freshness. These are perfect for gifting or just making in your home! All mixes come in decorated packages with ingredient labels and instruction cards.
