A little piece of the past sitting right here in the present.

Ms. Ang was a friend of my grandparents, and yesterday she stopped by Brookside for one of our giant subs.

Seeing her walk through the door brought back so many thoughts about the people who helped shape this community long before Brookside was here. She’s always been full of warmth, stories, and that contagious smile.

It’s easy to get caught up in the busy days, but moments like this are a reminder that what we’re really building is relationships that span generations.

We’re grateful for visits like these and for people like Ms. Ang who continue to brighten our day.

Some people walk through your doors and become so much more than just a customer.

Today we were randomly thinking about someone very special to the Brookside family. Her smile, her kindness, her conversations, and the energy she carried every time she walked in are things we’ll never forget.

She was the kind of person that made your day better just by being around.

Just a reminder to hug your people a little tighter, appreciate the conversations, and never take the small moments for granted.

We are so back…..

Some restaurants and bars in Baltimore County will be allowed to serve cocktails to-go under a bill signed into law in Maryland Tuesday.

The measure, which takes effect on July 1, comes three years after a law expired that allowed for to-go alcohol sales during the COVID-19 pandemic.
