Nothing says comfort food quite like a cast iron full of slow-braising grass-fed beef filling the kitchen with garlic, herbs, and rich flavor.

These seasoned Arizona Grass Raised Beef chunks are perfect for a rustic braise served over mashed potatoes, polenta, pasta, or next-day sandwiches if there are leftovers.

🥩 Sunday Braised Grass-Fed Beef Bites

Ingredients:
• 2–3 lbs grass-fed beef stew meat or chuck, cut into large chunks
• 2 tbsp beef tallow or olive oil
• 4 garlic cloves, minced
• 1 tsp coarse salt
• 1 tsp cracked black pepper
• 1 tsp garlic powder
• 1 tsp onion powder
• 1 tsp smoked paprika
• 1 tsp dried oregano
• 1 tbsp tomato paste
• 1 cup beef bone broth
• 1/2 cup red wine (optional)
• Fresh rosemary or thyme

Directions:

1. Pat beef dry and season generously on all sides.
2. Heat a cast iron pan or Dutch oven with beef tallow.
3. Sear beef chunks until browned on all sides.
4. Add garlic and tomato paste and stir for 1 minute.
5. Pour in bone broth and wine, scraping the pan for extra flavor.
6. Add rosemary or thyme, cover, and simmer low for 2.5–3 hours until fork tender.
7. Serve with mashed potatoes, roasted vegetables, pasta, or crusty bread.
