Pickled Beets
Ingredients:
8 medium fresh beets
1 cup vinegar
1/4 cup sugar substitute (like Swerve or monk fruit)
1 1/2 tsp whole cloves
1 1/2 tsp whole allspice
1/2 tsp salt
Instructions:
Scrub beets, trim tops to 1 inch, and boil in water until tender (25-30 mins). Cool, peel, and slice.
In a saucepan, boil vinegar, sugar substitute, cloves, allspice, and salt for 5 minutes.
Pour mixture over sliced beets and refrigerate for at least 1 hour. Drain before serving.
Low-carb and nutrient-packed!

Every time I make ribs in the air fryer I’m still in disbelief. An hour and a half to two hours in the oven is replaced by just 35 minutes in the air fryer! Preheat at 390°. Cut the rack of baby backs in half and slather with barbecue sauce. AF about 17 minutes. Then turn, more slathering, another 17 minutes. Crispy on top and fall off the bone tender!!

Place the sausages in the air fryer basket in a single layer. Do not overcrowd the basket, as this will prevent even cooking.
Cook the sausages for 8-12 minutes, flipping them halfway through cooking. The exact cooking time will depend on the size and type of sausages you're using.
Use a meat thermometer to ensure that the sausages have reached an internal temperature of 160°F (71°C) before serving.
Once cooked, remove the sausages from the air fryer and let them rest for a few minutes before serving.

So 3 egg whites
175g caster sugar
1 tsp cornflour
1tsp white vinegar
1tsp vanilla extract
130 for 40 mins in the air fryer
And here's what I have crisp on the outside, soft and chewy in the middle. 40 mins for meringue it's a game changer

Easy Air fryer scones...makes 7-8
350g SR flour
1 top baking powder
90g butter or margarine
4 tablespoons Caster sugar
1 egg and milk to make approx. 170 mls
I love this with blueberries mixed in but sultanas are good.
Rub butter into flour and baking powder. Add sugar and fruit of choice. Gently mix in egg/milk keeping some back for glazing tops.
Roll or pat dough to about 1cm then fold over and cut out scones. This allows the scones to be torn instead of cut.
Preheat air fryer...both drawers for couple of minutes.
Glaze scones and I like to sprinkle top with little bit of demerara sugar but not necessary.
Put on trays and air fry 190° for 8 minutes. Best scones I've ever made

Air Fryer Ham and Cheese Toasties (Crispy and Extra Melty) Ingredients for 2 Sandwiches
Four pieces of bread for sandwiches
4 pieces of ham
4 slices of cheese, such as emmental, Swiss, mozzarella, or cheddar
1 to 2 tablespoons of softened butter
2 tablespoons of cream or milk (optional, for extra creaminess)
Black pepper
A small amount of Dijon mustard (optional but very good)
Step 1: Make the Sandwich
Put butter on one side of each piece of bread.
The outside will be the buttered sides. This is what makes the golden crunch.
Turn over two slices, with the buttered side down.
Put the layers like this:
Cheese
Ham
A dash of black pepper
Optional: a thin layer of Dijon
A different piece of cheese
Add the second slice of bread on top, with the buttered side facing up.
Just drizzle a teaspoon of cream over the ham before closing the sandwich if you want it to be extra creamy like in the picture. It melts into everything.
Step 2: Into the Air Fryer
Set your air fryer to 180°C (350°F) and let it heat up for 2 to 3 minutes.
Put the sandwiches in the basket. Don't put too many of them in one place.
Cook for 6 to 8 minutes, flipping halfway through, until:
The bread is a nice golden brown.
The cheese is completely melted and starting to drip.
Add another minute or two if you want it to be extra crispy.
Step 3: Let it sit (very important!)
Before cutting, let them sit for 2 to 3 minutes.
The cheese will be like lava when it comes out of the fryer.
Then cut it in half and enjoy the stretch.
How I Like to Eat It
With a plain green salad
Or dipped into soup made with tomatoes
Or really just standing at the counter while it's still hot
The air fryer makes the outside perfectly crisp without making it dry, and the inside stays rich and creamy.

Soak sultanas in tea for a while, add egg and flour.Bake in air fryer on 180 for 20 minutes. I added glacier cherries for the first time. Recipe been around for a long time. I have been doing it the oven for the past 30 plus years. Does well in the air fryer
got the recipe from someone on this group.
I mug of tea (no milk)
1 mug of SR flour
1 mug of raisins
1 egg
Soak the raisins in the tea for a while then mix everything together
180 for 20 mins
It’s still hot so I’m not sure what the bake is like

Air Fryer Honey Mustard Chicken Breast
Juicy, tender chicken breast coated in a sweet-tangy honey mustard glaze and cooked quickly in the air fryer for a crispy outside and moist inside.
🛒 Ingredients (serves 2–3)
2 chicken breasts Chicken breast
2 tbsp honey Honey
2 tbsp Dijon mustard Mustard
1 tbsp olive oil Olive oil
2 cloves garlic, minced Garlic
1 tsp paprika Paprika
Salt and black pepper, to taste
Optional: 1 tsp lemon juice Lemon juice
👨‍🍳 Instructions
1. Make the honey mustard marinade
In a bowl, mix:
honey
Dijon mustard
olive oil
garlic
paprika
salt & pepper
optional lemon juice
Whisk until smooth.
2. Marinate the chicken
Coat chicken breasts evenly in the marinade.
Let sit for 15–30 minutes (or up to 2 hours for deeper flavor).
👉 Tip: Even a short marination improves taste significantly.
3. Preheat air fryer
Preheat to 190°C (375°F) for 3–5 minutes.
4. Cook chicken
Place chicken in air fryer basket in a single layer.
Cook for 10–14 minutes, flipping halfway.
👉 Cooking time depends on thickness—ensure internal temp reaches 75°C (165°F).
5. Rest & serve
Let chicken rest for 5 minutes before slicing.
