Running a small business means living in the world of supply and demand. Keeping existing accounts and earning new ones is what keeps the wheels turning.
We are grateful for every wholesale account that carries Baba's Brew, but some partnerships feel especially meaningful because they align so closely with what we believe in.
Five years ago, getting our kombucha into felt like a dream come true. An internationally recognized destination just 20 miles from our brewery, surrounded by extraordinary gardens and a deep appreciation for plants, nature, and beauty. A kombucha infused with herbs, berries, flowers, and spices grown by local farmers seemed right at home there.
Over the years, thousands of bottles found their way into visitors' hands through their grab and go café and gift shop. Many of you sent photos of yourselves holding Baba's Brew at Longwood Gardens, and those messages always made me smile. It also gave out-of-state visitors a chance to enjoy our kombucha even if they lived far beyond our delivery area. ❤️
Recently, Longwood Gardens decided to reorganize its beverage program and is no longer carrying Baba's Brew. That is entirely their decision, and I respect it.
At the same time, I have always believed in the power of customer demand. Businesses listen to what their customers buy, request, and support.
If you enjoyed finding Baba's Brew during your visits to Longwood Gardens and would like to see it return someday, let them know. A simple comment or request can go a long way.
And regardless of where you find our kombucha, thank you for supporting local businesses like ours. Every bottle, every share, and every recommendation matters more than you know. 🙏🙏🙏
