If your life gives you tooIf you’ve been brewing kombucha for a while, you know the SCOBY problem. 😂 They multiply… and multiply… and suddenly you have way more than you know what to do with.

You can compost them. You can make SCOBY jerky. Or you can do one of my favorite things with an extra SCOBY — turn it into a chocolate face mask. 🍫

Here’s how I make mine.

It’s no secret that when the people working at a store genuinely love your product, their customers feel that excitement too.

That is certainly the case at Weavers Way Co-op in Mt. Airy, where we sell more than a dozen kegs of kombucha every month.

Today, I made a quick stop there, and as soon as I walked in, Robin, one of the co-op’s working members, came right up to me and said, “Purple Rain is my favorite!”

Moments like this mean so much to me. I am incredibly grateful for this community and for the people who so genuinely support and champion a small local business like ours. 💜

Have bucha, will travel 🤩

Running out of Baba's Brew on vacation is a rare event... but it led to a happy surprise.

Today's stop at the OCNJ Farmers Market introduced me to not one, but two local kombuchas I'd never tasted before. I love seeing how different people interpret the same craft.

Shout-out to OM Champagne Tea and Goji for quenching my kombucha thirst!

After a lot of thought, we've decided to discontinue canned Turbo Squirrel.

Sometimes running a small business means making difficult decisions so we can focus our energy where it matters most. 🙏

Talula's Daily was one of the very first places in Philadelphia to believe in Baba's Brew all those years ago. They've been part of our story for a long time, so being back on their shelves feels a little like coming home.

Starting today, you can once again grab your favorite Baba's Brew while you're picking up lunch, coffee, or provisions for the day.

A huge thank you to the wonderful team at Talula's Daily for welcoming us back. We couldn't be happier.

Pennsylvania peaches are finally here! 🍑

After the historic spring freeze, many local farmers lost most—if not all—of their stone fruit crops this year. That's why these peaches feel especially special.

We're incredibly grateful to Frecon Farms for sharing part of this year's harvest with us. Every peach represents months of hard work, resilience, and a season that didn't go as planned.🙏

To celebrate them, we're releasing a very limited batch of Passion Project kombucha, available on tap only.

Made with Pennsylvania peaches, local raw honey, and a touch of passion fruit, it's bright, juicy, and tastes like the very best of summer.
