Update on Mike

I don't know what happened but my last post was deleted. There hasn't been any change with Mike. He still can't move his left side. He still can't hold his head up or sit up. He is basically bedridden. His mind is constantly working though. His memory is pretty good at times. He tends to drift in and out of reality. He says he gets up and walks 100 yards, but of course that doesn't happen because he can't move. He still talks about smoking meat for his food truck. I tell him he has to get up out of bed first.

Update on Mike

Just a short update as there hasn't been any change . They are still pumping him full of antibiotics. He still can't move his left side . He still can't sit up on his own and he still needs to be fed. So unfortunately things haven't changed for him. Thank you for all the the thoughts and prayers, they really mean a lot to me, Mike and his sister Denise and his brother Neal.

Update on Mike

I'm sorry I haven't updated in awhile. There hasn't been any change in Mike's condition. They are trying to get rid of his infection. Because of the infection he is in isolation. He still has no movement on his left side. He still can't sit up on his own. He has a lot of confusion. This is about all I have for now.

Update on Mike

Mike still remains the same. There hasn't been any change at all. He is in isolation due to his infection. So at this time, he isn't allowed visitors. I wish I could give better news, maybe the next update!

Update on Mike

Yesterday Mike was found on the floor. He somehow managed to fall off his bed. They did a CT scan on him and then decided they better do an MRI. Mike has been really confused since his stroke and he wouldn't stay still for the MRI. They ended up sedating him slightly. That didn't work so they sedated him a bit more. That helped, some. Anyway, they originally thought that there could be an infection in his head from his surgery. They said if that was the case they would have to reopen his skull and do a clean out and then close it back up. Fortunately, it was a pocket of air or gasses. This is something that happens after the surgery he had. They did say he had another stroke. They said it was a small stroke and it doesn't look like it caused any damage. When the blood work came back it showed the bone infection from his foot. Since this is a contagious infection, he will be in isolation for awhile. This poor man has been in extreme pain for awhile. My heart hurts for him.💔

Update on Mike

There still isn't any change. Still no movement on his left side. He still can't sit up on his own. I think he's getting his appetite back though. He ate all of his lunch and then asked for more. Once he ate his lunch, he fell asleep. I'll update more later

Update on Mike

Just a short update. Nothing new going on with Mike. Still no movement on his left side. He told me yesterday that he can't see out of his left eye. The good news is that the antibiotics seem to be working on the bone infection in his foot. That's the only updates for now. Please continue prayers!
