🐄 The concept for this label was inspired by “Viehscheid” - The Bavarian Cattle Drive, and features custom artwork by Dustin Goebel!

Pickerington Oktoberfest Beer Mile

The Pickerington Oktoberfest Beer Mile is back in 2026! The Beer Mile will be held at Combustion Pickerington, and hosted by the Pickerington Village. The Beer Mile will kickoff Day 2 of Pickerington Oktoberfest in the Combustion parking lot at 80 West Church Street!

***RELAY HEAT RETURNING in 2026***
Heat 5 will start at NOON, with a maximum of 6 teams (4 persons on each team). Just like the individual Beer Mile event, the race will start with drinking a beer then running a 1/4 Mile loop. After crossing the finish line, the runner will hand off the timing device to the next runner on his/her team. So, a total of 4 beers and 4 loops to complete the Beer Mile. There will be one timing device for each team. Each participant will get a t-shirt and participation woodel!

WHAT’S A BEER MILE?
• Chug a beer. Run a quarter mile x4!

Then celebrate with your friends as you wait for all four heats to finish. The Beer Mile results will be posted by heat and for the overall finishers.

HEATS
• 10:00am Heat 1 - SOLD OUT!
• 10:30am Heat 2
• 11:00am Heat 3
• 11:30am Heat 4
• 12:00pm Heat 5 (Relay Teams Only)

AWARDS
The top overall male and female finishers will receive a trophy and gift card. All finishers will receive a "woodel" after completing the event.

RULES (NO EXCEPTIONS)
1. ***YOU MUST BE AGE 21 TO PARTICIPATE IN THIS EVENT***. You will be REQUIRED to have ID with you when you pick up your bib. No ID. No running.

2. ALL beer will be provided and poured by Combustion. No outside beer will be brought in. Beers will be in plastic cups and the actual beer being provided will be announced prior to the event.

3. You are REQUIRED to either have a DD (Designated Driver) for the event, or take an Uber (or Lyft or pedicab). YES! WE'LL ASK! You will not be able to participate if you do not have a plan, you will not be able to drive home if you participate in the event. An Uber will be called for you.
