Happy New Year Everyone! I hope everyone had a great holiday. I haven't taken many pictures at the farm lately. Once the snow started falling up here, it hasn't stopped. The boys are loving the cold temps for ice on the bay and the amount of snow for snowmobiling. My husband and I, not so much. Frozen waters, drifted-in coops (and driveways, and neighbors, and roads, etc...), snow blowing, shoveling, splitting wood... We love where we live! We Love what we do!! The animals are doing great. We have 3 hogs eating like pigs ๐
Chickens are not laying eggs as I had hoped but its winter. We moved their coops this summer out of the barn and decided to leave them outside for the winter, usually in the barn I had a light set up for longer daylight for them. Spring will be here soon enough. Fair steer is growing great and started on the halter. We have a new addition to the family, Jerstin Vanluven came home with a Australian Shepard puppy just before Christmas. He is a terror, but he is adorable.
I will get pictures posted as soon as I get some. I hope everyone has a wonderful rest of January, stay safe, stay warm, and stay out of the scenery!
