415G and her daughter by Just Business were bought at the recent Geneplus Female Sale at Bar V Genetix. They belong to my good buddies, Gavin Cade and Dee Sanders. The heifer calf will be available at weaning. She’s sired by an exciting young herdsire and has an incredible dam behind her. She’s a first generation Brangus with great epd’s to build around.

4530 is our latest purchase. This beautiful angus heifer came from our good friend Sam Hawk of Hawk Angus Farms. She’s a Reward out of 5339, one of his top donor cows. She’s in calf to Elvis for a September calf. We are still debating bulls, but plan to use this female to create a new family of ultrablacks for our herd. Stay tuned…

102L is making her case as the new queen of the pastures. She’s in calf to Just Business for an early September calf. We can’t wait!!

I’ve been trying my best to catch a photo of this one. 102L is an Empower out of an El Dorado, going back to the 1002 angus female that started the 102 family for Cody Gariss. Affectionately known as “Brown Cow,” she made her presence known when her first calf, SA Ms Triple Crown 102N, sold at the recent Geneplus Female Sale at Bar V Genetix for $26,000 to Hicks Ranch, LLC. She stuck to AI and will calve to Just Business in around 90 days. We think she’s gonna have a big future in our herd!!

Baby Fergus was out on the move this evening. This Abstract x 535L58 (County Line x 535E20) bull calf combines two of the most consistent animals in the breed. He’s easy going, has plenty of growth and is a very attractive calf. We’ll be excited to watch him develop!!
