Pretty excited about these two. 4530 is our first registered angus. She’s due around the 15th of September with an AI sired calf by Elvis and 30J55 is an old pro at this point. She’s due a bit later with a natural calf by Intrinsic. We can’t wait to see them!!

Time to go on a diet!! We moved 30D3 up front with the three Fall calvers yesterday so she can hopefully slim down a bit. As usual, she quickly assumed her role as the dominant cow in the pasture. If all goes according to plan, we’ll try for one more conventional flush when the weather cools down and try to get her bred in December.

Big thank you to Anna Crawford Hilson for sharing this photo. Some of our very favorites had a big weekend at the 2026 Baker Showmanship showdown in Macclenny, FL. Jessa was Grand Champion Senior Showman. Brenna was Reserve Grand Champion in Antique Showmanship. Gus took 5th overall in Juniors and Autumn was 4th overall in Peewee. Congratulations guys!!

Another really cool shot of Ambition. This was taken on Sale Day. We love his masculine head, true muscle expression and clean sheath design. He’s standing on a big hoof and moves with ease. With Fall breeding season approaching, we are getting more and more excited to use our new Herdsire, G+ Ambition 919N15. Ambition was the highlight of a historic flush produced by Chimney Rock Cattle Company, resulting in 5 outstanding yearling bulls that grossed over $150k in their Spring Bull Sale. Ambition was the high seller of the day, being bought in a partnership with Bar V Genetix, Foster Ridge Cattle Company and our program. Be on the lookout for his first calves next Spring!!

More progress on the big red barn… Dennis has the electrical ready for hook up and Gavin Cade got started on the new fences today. Things are looking great!!

30D3 is back home for the season. She’s our featured donor that was purchased in 2020. She was originally owned by three partners and is now co-owned with Bar V Genetix. As a 10 year old, she’s still a magnificent female and has been very productive. She currently has 64 registered calves including the $26,000 30N32, the $18,000 30H51 and 30N that will sell this Fall at Chimney Rock Cattle Company. We are thrilled to have her back on the farm!!

30D3 is home!! Big thank you to Will Burks who has hauled this cow dozens of times for us since 2020 when we purchased her with Casy George. She’s been very productive as a donor since her last calf and she’s now home to coast until Fall breeding season.
