18 healthy little chicks, they joined their new family this week. We've got 22 started that are at least partially spoken for. Let us know if we can put your name on the next batch. Our daughter is selling them as part of her FFA SAE project. They are all free range so they will be a barnyard mix of Buff Orpington's, Easter Egger's, Barred Plymouth Rocks, and Golden Laced Wyandotte. All have been amazing layers! DM for more info!

Taking deposits for whole and 1/2 porks! Butcher appointment in late July. If you wanna pick up a weaned piglet, we can do that too. 9 week old Herford x Tamworth crosses.

The last few days have been rough...-30° with wind chill at times, snow, frozen water tanks/ponds, hauling hay, shuttling buckets of hot water a few times a day, and keeping the hungry wood furnace full. In all of this trying to keep new born piglets alive, bringing LGD's inside, moving cows/calfs to neighbors for ease of access to water, horse in his stall, Chuck stuck in a small barn, and chickens, ducks, and goats being locked up in their respective shelters. No matter what though, we are blessed and want to wish everyone a Merry Christmas! Here's to the 50's by the end of next week! Lol

It's here. Been talking about this arctic blast all week. Single digit highs and below zero lows not including wind chill are expected tomorrow and Friday. We've done all we can for the animals and we've brought the outside dogs inside. Only time will tell if it's enough.
