We're Heather and the crew, pouring everything into raising happy goats and cattle the old- fashioned way: rotational grazing on fresh pastures, no hormones or junk, just pure sunshine and space. FOr beef, its grass-fed and grass finished which packs real flavor, alongside pork and farm fresh eggs whenever we got'em. Everything's local, sustainable, and made with care- we ship nearby or grab your farm fresh products at the farmers markets year round. Honoring a Legend: Shelby ❤️ Today I’m remembering my sweet Shelby, who passed at the incredible age of 15. I bought her as a two-year-old, and it’s truly unheard of for a dairy goat to live that long. She was cherished every single day. Shelby gave us so many memories, beautiful babies, and countless gallons of milk that brought joy to our happy customers. Thank you for everything, sweet girl. You were one of a kind. 💕

At Homestead Ranch LLC, we love our horses just as much as our goats, cows, and pigs. Gould has been part of our family operation for years, helping with everything from teaching the kids about gentle giants to reminding us daily why we do what we do on this 4th-generation farm in Pierce, CO.
Age doesn’t dim her beauty — if anything, it adds to her majesty. There’s something extra special about a mature mare who’s seen seasons come and go yet still shines like this. ❤️

Meet the newest members of the Homestead Ranch escape squad: Mr. Chow & Peanut!
We turned our backs for TWO SECONDS and these little troublemakers decided the car was their personal limousine! Mr. Chow (yes, like that Mr. Chow) is clearly plotting world domination from the passenger floor, while Peanut is living his best life riding shotgun like a tiny brown-and-white king.
“Mom, we’re going to the farmers market… right? RIGHT?!” 🐐💨
These two are the reason our days are equal parts chaos and uncontrollable laughter. One minute they’re bouncing around the pen, the next they’re trying to chew on seatbelts and steal the aux cord.

P.S. Yes, they made it safely back to the farm… but we’re pretty sure they’re already planning their next great escape.

Hey friends & farm family ❤️
We’re so sorry we’ve been quiet on here lately! Summer hit us like a whirlwind of happy chaos — between all the farmers markets we’re running to, the never-ending behind-the-scenes work to keep our shelves stocked, and making sure every tummy that leaves with our grass-fed meats, raw goat milk, and artisan cheeses is smiling big… we’ve barely had time to breathe (let alone post!).
But look at these sweet faces! Nothing beats the sound of giggling babies and squealing kids as they meet our bouncy baby goats for the first time. These little moments — watching families make memories with our herd — are exactly why we do what we do. 🐐💛
We promise we’re back this week with fresh updates, fun behind-the-scenes peeks, new market dates, and some exciting things we’ve been cooking up (literally and figuratively 😉).

😂 When the babysitter calls in sick and the kids decide it’s time for a full-on rodeo in the playpen!
These little troublemakers at Homestead Ranch are out here practicing their Olympic gymnastics, parkour, and questionable life choices all before breakfast. One minute they’re innocent angels… the next they’re playing ‘wwe” like it’s a competitive sport!
