What is a seasonal Herdshare membership?
I realized I hadn’t explained on here in a while what our Herdshare is and what a seasonal membership is.
We have a couple of spoiled jersey milk cows. We spent a lot of money on these ladies. They are both A2A2, have been completely health tested, and are fed mostly grass but the little grains they do get are some of the very best money can buy and all organic. These ladies have never been given any hormones to increase milk supply (which is common in store bought milk) and are weekly tested to insure low bacteria counts.
A herdshare is not you buying milk- we do NOT sell milk here. This is you buying into our herd. You own a share of the herd and then you also get a share of the milk.
Our seasonal membership is 12 weeks long. It gives you a chance to buy into the herd short term for a flat fee.
We have run our Herdshare for 3.5 years now and 90% of the people in it have been with us the entire time! We don’t have a big turn around and spots are hard to come by so seasonal spots are a great way to start!
