Got some gorgeous bantams from a swap this past weekend. 2 molted bantam Cochins(black and white my favorite) and 1 calico bantam Cochin (so colorful)!

These ladies may have been labeled incorrectly as bantam Cochins when I purchased them as chicks, but boy they turned out purdy anyways!

Don’t mistake this for a 2 headed chicken haha these sisters do everything together, always literally looking like they’re attached at the hip!

Meet Rudy nicknamed “Rudy-Roo”! He has been the lead rooster here for 5 years since October 2021, he has outlasted many predators and cold winters. He’s a gentleman to the hens and friendly to people. I’m not sure how old he was when we obtained him and I know he’s aging but I’m hoping we have a few more good years with him as he’s such a great guy to have around.

The favorite chicken on the farm is Becky! Becky is a 2 year old gray bantam silkie, she will come running whenever any leftovers are thrown out, her favorite food by far is Mac & cheese, she loves hanging around people, but is not a fan of being picked up haha

The chicks have grown so much, but still a little ways off before they get their outdoor freedom
