McDonald's is bringing pure nostalgia to the menu this summer! After more than three decades, they are officially bringing back the legendary Fried Apple Pie to celebrate America's 250th birthday. 🇺🇸🍔

Here is the full breakdown of the massive menu return:

🥧 The OG Recipe -- This all-day menu item features their signature filling made with 100% American-grown apples, wrapped up in the golden, flaky fried crust that fans have been craving since it was replaced by the baked version in 1992. 🍏🤤

Pizza Hut is bringing pure nostalgia to the table this summer! The legendary BOOK IT! program is officially running its "Summer of Stories" right now, allowing the next generation to earn free pizza just by reading. 📖🎒

Here is the full breakdown of the summer reading return:

🍕 The Summer Program -- The Summer of Stories runs from June 1 through August 31 and is completely open to families with kids in pre-K through sixth grade. 🗓️👦👧

📱 How To Track It -- Parents can grab the free BOOK IT! mobile app to set and track monthly reading goals. The challenge is set to at least 20 minutes a day for 15 days out of the month. ⏱️⚡

🏆 The Tasty Reward -- Once that monthly reading goal is crushed, kids unlock a digital certificate in the app that can be redeemed for a free, one-topping Personal Pan Pizza at participating locations! 🧀🤤

Arson Brothers Eats: Arby's Sliders Are Officially Back! 🍔🍖🥪

The budget-friendly drive-thru staples have returned. Arby's announced they are bringing back their fan-favorite sliders for the summer season at $1.99 each.

Here is the breakdown of the slider drop:

🍔 The Lineup: The returning menu features four varieties: the Roast Beef Slider, the Buffalo Chicken Slider, the Chicken Slider, and the Ham Slider.

🥪 The Build: The roast beef and chicken sliders come topped with Swiss cheese. The buffalo chicken version features a crispy tender tossed in buffalo sauce and finished with ranch. The ham slider pairs sliced ham with Swiss cheese.

We're burning the midnight oil and hitting the typewriter hard for tonight's pull from the archive. Long before movies were doing meta-comedy and breaking the fourth wall, there was Jake Speed. It’s a pure, unadulterated 1980s love letter to cheap pulp paperbacks, answering the ultimate question: what if a fictional, dime-store action hero actually existed in the real world?

We set up tonight's scene to match exactly where a character like this is born: on the scarred desk of a frustrated, late-night writer trying to bang out the next great men's adventure novel. This original New World Video release is a battle-scarred survivor from the golden age of the rental store, and that classic, over-the-top cover art still hits just right. 🥃✍️

Archive Fact: Instead of just making a straight Indiana Jones or Romancing the Stone knockoff, the creators made a brilliantly self-aware movie about the idea of those heroes.
