Gourds are buried in snow this week! Thankfully, we already had our gourds in the barn for the Florida Gourd Society Show next weekend! Feb. 26-28th. Ready to feel that warm sunshine!

It's been a great summer for growing gourds at Pumpkin Hollow in Arkansas. Long handle dippers will be plentiful if everything continues to grow well!

(((Yawn))). I stayed up way too late. But I've been watching for the opportunity to get this shot of the Milky Way over our gourd field with a train passing by. Gourds bloom at night, so you can see them if you zoom in. Streak on the left is the train rolling through. Lights on the horizon are Piggott city lights. Oh, by the way, we have lots of gourds for sale! :)

All our gourdhead friends are invited to visit, too!

We’ve been waiting awhile to make this exciting announcement! Pumpkin Hollow will be open this fall! We have received approval of our plan from the Arkansas Health Department, and it’s official now. Our staff is busy getting everything ready. As you can see in this picture, we are working hard to make the best of this COVID 19 year. Well, we may need to redirect some of them. LOL. We will be following directives to mask, social distance, and clean/disinfect. We invite you to come have some fun with us this fall. Save the date: September 19th is opening day. Can you help us out and share this information as much as possible?

We are so very sad to learn that the Cherokee Gourd Gathering has been cancelled. Although we expected it and know it is the right thing to do, we will miss being there tremendously. We have sold gourds every year at the Gathering since the first event in 2003. We worked hard selling gourds there, but we LOVED having a little play time in Cherokee and in the Smokies while we were there. 2021 will be here before you know it, and we'll be so happy to reunite with our many friends there from all over the country! Please know that we are currently shipping gourds and plan to continue. There's plenty of room on a gourd farm for social distancing! We are still able to have visitors come to the farm to pick their gourds. Lots of open space here!
