StoneFen Farm

StoneFen Farm, LLC is sixth generation family farm raising British breed cattle. There are three generations of Gosses working together to wisely steward the fields and forests entrusted to us for this time.

Currently we raise Hereford and Devon cross cattle. Their moderate size and smaller bone structure enable them to efficiently graze our 30 acres of rolling hills--dense with carbon-sinking forages. From spring to early winter our cattle can be viewed rotating through 40+ paddocks. We practice regenerative grazing utilizing the cows themselves to harvest most of what they need to eat and to spread nutrients evenly over the fields. The cattle's diet consists of seasonally fresh grasses and legumes, and then dried hay when the snow is too deep to forage through.
