Welcome To Our Farm...and Our Family of Horses, Dogs, Cats, Birds... and anything else that happens to show up along the way!
Our 100 acre farm is located in Pikeville, Tennessee, in the beautiful Sequatchie Valley at the base of the Cumberland Plateau.
The views surrounding us are truly breathtaking at any time of the year, and we never tire of the amazing landscape that our farm overlooks.
Although we are now retired from breeding Saddlebreds, our mission has not changed, which was simply to provide for the well-being of our horses, and to all creatures... to give them the best natural and nurturing environment possible that will benefit them mentally, as well as physically.
This goal has been in place since day one of the beginning this journey when we had one horse, one acre, and one simple dream.
Each of our horses were/are handled on a daily basis...from the moment they are born in our barn, or from the moment they arrive here from another farm. Newborns learn to love human interaction...and older horses that come to us from more difficult lives learn that they are finally safe, and that no one is ever going to hurt them or strike fear into their hearts again...EVER.
Our horses were bred to be athletes, plain and simple... and it seems like they were born knowing that.
The bloodlines were there.
The conformation was there.
The movement was there.
So was the stamina, heart and desire.
All you had to do was pick your color, personality, and discipline!
Through selective breeding, we were able to develop a horse with incredible forward movement. That, paired with a ground-covering stride and powered by extremely strong hind-quarters made for an extraordinary natural athlete.
Oh, and there's that "fairly important" factor of intelligence... and love of people, too. All those characteristics are pretty handy to have all wrapped up in one horse!
Although we no longer have any foals for sale, please take a moment to give us a virtual visit from time to time and get to know the horses and other critters that call our farm "Home." They each have a story to tell... and perhaps a little bit of their own wisdom to pass along to those that dare open their minds...
..and hearts.
