Friends Drift Inn Farm is a Kentucky Appalachian Proud family-owned agricultural enterprise growing chiefly heirloom vegetables, flowers, and pumpkins. On farm sales and sales to restaurant trade/event planners by appointment. Square accepted. Produce varies by season. Emphasis on heritage varieties of tomatoes, beans, summer squash, and a diverse offering of winter squash including cushaws and pumpkins. Zinnias, sunflowers, painted gourds, wreaths, fall florals and seasonal nature-inspired decor special orders welcome. Farm tours by appointment and at owners' convenience. Joyce Pinson is a local Appalachian Farm-to-Table columnist available for free-lance writing assignments specializing in farm-to-table and food hero profiles. Charlie and Joyce are available for public speaking engagements focusing on sustainable small-scale farming, marketing farm products, community engagement and building a local food economy. The owners are co-founders of the Appalachian Seed Swap and advocates for Appalachian Agriculture. Private cooking classes and personal appearances are available as time permits.
