SO MANY EGGS! Not enough cartons!
Having 20 chickens has its ups and downs, one of the downs being I used to know which chicken laid each specific egg.. now I have no clue!! 😂 we have hit 9 a day as our high. And it’s coming into molt season so some will start to save their energy to make new feathers instead of eggs, then the days get shorter so egg production will decrease. Which might not be such a bad thing right now!

No eggs yet, the ladies are reaching 4 months old so it’ll still be a couple months before they start producing. However my 3 ladies have been reliable in keeping our breakfast on the table! Thanks gals!

Here’s a topic... do you have to refrigerate your fresh eggs?

Before I had chickens I had no idea that fresh eggs did not have to be refrigerated, so long as you do not wash them before hand and use them in a timely fashion.

A quick read, I’d like to know your thoughts!
