Huge thank you to the Texas Professional Farrier Association for putting on this contest. The 20 year old me could have never imagined one day Craig Trnka would drive 12 hours to come compete on a team with my husband what an honour. Thank you to Stan Mullen for judging. Matt cleaned up winning 1st overall in the open, 1st in the shoeing, top scoring Texan and winning the draft class with his team.

Congratulations to Matt and his team. This was individually scored but they all had a very successful trip to Amsterdam for the Werkmam Spring Games. Matt was able to make it into the last round of top 10 out of 70 competitors. He finished 4th overall. Thank you to World Championship Blacksmiths for sponsoring the WCB team to go to Holland.

Thank you to the Spruce Meadows and World Championship Blacksmiths family. We were spoiled all week. I never thought I would see a time when farriers were treated so well. We are so proud of Matt Findler for making the top 10 out of 65 of some of the worlds top farriers. I hope we get to come back next year.
