Finished the summer strong to say the least. It’s been a great ride. Thanks to all the great kids and families over the decades.
As I spent the last few weeks truly thinking what our farm means to me and the future. I started writing down the names of all the kids that we helped get purple ribbons in the last decade. 47 kids, and I remember every pig!!
With that being said, I’ve made the difficult decision to stop farrowing due to numerous reasons. Sad to say the least and I’m struggling accepting that this is for the best but for now it’s the only option.
I do have some strong foundation sows bred and will be breeding a few more in the couple of weeks. I hope to find them good homes. Every one has hung banners in the past.
To our customers, I’ll be contacting each of you to discuss our plan moving forward and our recommendations to help you get your pigs for 2027. We do have calls out to breeders next year and they’re ready to help our past costumers get the best pigs for next year’s shows!!
For now, stay tuned for bred females.
