The season is almost over. One more week for you-pick and farm visits. Just message us with your appointment time! For the rest of the summer, you can find us at Pinckney Farmers Market every Thursday evening from 4-8 pm, once a month at Greenfield Village for their farmers market, and at the Light Up the Park Pinckney Michigan Kringle Market Peoples Church from 10-3 on November 28th! 💜

Lavender harvest is still going on while other stuff is coming in too. Finished the second harvest of rhubarb. Sometimes I only have time to pick and clean and then I’ll come back later to cut and freeze or can. So I stick the rhubarb in a vase with water to keep them hydrated. Did you know you’re supposed to pull the rhubarb near the base to pluck it out at the barb? This sends a signal to the plant that it is missing and needs to grow new ones. We may get a third harvest this year with how early the first two came in. Also. Wildflowers and early harvest of orange cherry tomatoes this morning. 🍅 🌼 🌱

We had the best day! Thank you to all who came out and celebrated lavender season with us! We had the best day and I finally was able to pick up my new hat from Bonfire Brim Co. - JAS Accents! A few years ago, my friend, Ruth Fahlström gave me her mom’s picture of lavender when her mom passed away. She said she wanted it to be in a place that her mom would love and she knew we would take care of it for her. I have it displayed for all to admire today in her memory. 💜
