New twins born to heifer cow. Born 9/12 and 9/13 was 95 degrees. Doing great now after getting out of the sun.

We’re sold out of squares but we have about 400 4x5 round bales for sale. Ranging from grass hay stored outside for $40/bale to alfalfa stored inside at $100/bale and everything in between.

Delivery available for loads of 10. Price depends on distance.

Seems like it’s always on a cold or rainy day when calves are born. I stopped by to chop a hole in the ice for the cows and found this guy today. Fortunately, Mom had him in the lot, so it was easy to get him in the barn.

Massey/Hesston 1359 mower conditioner. $12,500. New ones are $30-32,000. Trying to get a self propelled 15 ft cut. Using this one today.

Hay ran short and cows were really anxious to get on new grass. We had to
Keep them off as long as possible but this is the sound of happy cows. Reminds me of 2012 when we shipped cattle to east Texas when we had drought here. Imagine turning 40 cows out in the dark in a new place knowing the first thing cows usually do is check the fence and then hearing this sound. It was music to my ears then and still is now.
