Congratulations to Kaydense and Avery Funk! We showed pigs for many years and Bryan and Kelly were a big part of that for our family. We jumped at the chance to be a small part of their girls' summer projects. Hard working kids with kind hearts and bright futures. We are proud of you!

Fair season has started. We have just been over here trying to set ewes up to flush, hold onto hair on the steers and finish up swimming lessons and rec baseball. Oh and work my 8 hour paying job. 😏 We may slide in sideways on two wheels to county fair(s) but you can be sure we gave it all we had this summer. And as much as I enjoy my own kids success, I enjoy our show kids success equally as much. Stay tuned for updates!

I'm sorry it's been crickets lately. I get so busy raising kids and livestock that I forget I need to sell them to keep going. The livestock, not the kids...most days. 😆

Ethan will be home tomorrow and we will be getting pictures of the older lambs to share.

We have some good sheep in the barn that you will want to see. We also have January lambs that are not weaned. It seems everyone wants to buy earlier every year. Our January borns will make county fair. And you won't have to feed them an extra two months.

Only one jug remaining. We had a small run of AI ewes go and Im enjoying a few nights without night checks.

We also had our first set of goats out of the new billy. And to say I'm excited to see the rest is an understatement! Stay tuned.
