Our last two very special bottle babies of 2026 headed off to their new riverfront sanctuary today The Summit School at Nyack 🏞️

The Summit School in Nyack is truly special. Their team pours so much heart and enthusiasm into creating an experience that brings their students closer to animals and nature. It’s exactly the kind of place you hope your animals end up. Knowing our little duo will be part of their farm and nature program feels like the perfect next chapter 🙌 🫶

Our farm is a Certified Wildlife Habitat, so we learn to share space and in turn, witness special moments like this fox den raising kits in our pig pasture. Tracks at the den entrance, feathers from hunting lessons, and curious cubs keeping watch. Turns out the pig pasture is prime real estate for fox families - safe, quiet, and rodent friendly. Meet our newest (temporary) residents who we expect to move on once the kits are grown in July. Locals might be able to catch a sighting off Van Kueren and State Route 302 🦊🐾

When the wool comes off, the work begins. A flock of freshly shorn sheep returned to the vineyard today to do what they do best: graze, fertilize, and help us grow better grapes. Is there anything better than animals doing the work nature designed them for? We don’t think so!

Last call for the Regional Food Bank’s Neighborhood Food & Fund Drive. This week we gathered a huge haul and today did a competitive round of rainy day “Supermarket Sweep” . The boys won by coming in not even $2 over their budget! Thank you again to everyone who contributed to the Neighborhood Food & Fund Drive.

If you’ve got a few items to spare, you can still drop them in our donation bin and grab free eggs from our hens as a thank you. The donation bin is at our farm entrance off Van Keuren Dr. and State Route 302.

The 19th Annual Neighborhood Food & Fund drive is live!

Now through Saturday, the 25th, Taffera Family Farms is collecting the most needed pantry items for the Regional Food Bank of Hudson Valley. If you’re able to contribute, even one or two shelf‑stable items makes a real difference. Our collection bin is located on Van Keuren Dr., just off of State Route 302. Please DM if you need a local pickup.

Many thanks to the 4th grade classes at EJ Russell Elementary and Insook’s Kimchi & Produce in Gardiner, NY for supporting our efforts!
