NYFW was a whole circus ā wool protests, runway interruptions, and Steven Kolb, the CEO of Council of Fashion Designers of America violently āshearingā people off the stage. Headlines are buzzing about wool and animal treatment, but industrial wool from massive supply chains is a completely different world than local wool.
Ethical wool exists. Itās not produced in giant factories overseas ā itās grown on small farms like ours in the Hudson Valley, where animals are cared for, handled gently, and shorn safely ā¦ apparently way better than the PETA protestors were.
