Soulshine Market is searching for a new host for our monthly Open Poetry.

The right person for this role isn't just a host. They are someone who can hold a room with warmth and intention. Who knows how to welcome the first-time reader trembling at the mic just as graciously as the seasoned poet who's been doing this for decades.

What we're looking for:
- A genuine love of poetry and spoken word
- A community-minded spirit that lifts others up
- Alignment with the vibe of Soulshine Market

Please contact us if you are interested.

Let's talk about beans for a second.

Seriously. BEANS. The most underrated, underappreciated food on the planet.

Here's what a humble little bean brings to the table:

Protein - plant-based, complete, and ready to work
Fiber - the kind your gut has been begging for
Iron, magnesium, folate, potassium - a whole vitamin aisle in a tiny package
Complex carbs - slow burning energy that actually lasts
Antioxidants - fighting inflammation while you go about your day

And the price? You can create endless meals with beans for next to nothing. Beans are one of the smartest purchases you can make for your body AND your wallet.

Black beans. Chickpeas. Lentils. Kidney beans. Cannellini. Pintos. We've got them all at Soulshine Market - dried, canned, organic, bulk. However you want them.
