Great day today, got to hear our name in ribs. Was great to kick off the season, get the rust out meet some new friends and see some old great friends. Looking forward to the next one.

For the BBQ nerds out there, I completed today's contest on a single 22" WSM. (Had two, but did not need it). 726 sq inches. Myth Confirmed! 2 butts, 1 packer brisket, 3 racks of ribs and 16 chicken thighs. May not have won, but I am efficient! It was a fun day.

Great day was had. We got 9/34 in chicken, and 4/34 in brisket finishing 10th overall. The contest was great, the weather was great. Awesome day.

Last contest of the season, and it should be awesome! We have a cabin! Setup in Kimberling City , MO. People's Choice is Saturday, and full turn ins on Sunday. Cabin the whole time. Teammates are already saying that cabin is required for future contests ! Will post pics in the AM.
