We’re a family of five living a simple, faith-filled life just off the Alabama River Parkway. Rooted in our love for God, family, and the land, we’re excited to share a little piece of our farm with you. At Barnes Family Farm, we:
• Train horses and offer beginner horseback riding lessons
• Raise happy chickens and will soon provide farm fresh eggs daily
• Grow delicious produce like peas, toma

toes, squash, and okra
• Offer U-Pick blueberries—and they’re almost ready!
• Sell painted gourds for birds and beautiful ferns and flowers for your porch
Whether you’re stopping by for fresh veggies, planning a day in the blueberry patch, picking out a porch fern, or riding with us in the arena, we’re so happy to welcome you. From our family to yours—welcome to the farm!

Fresh picked and stocked up at Barnes Family Farm 🍅🍑🍉

We’ve got green tomatoes, big red slicer tomatoes, fresh peaches, heirloom tomatoes grown right here in Elmore County, fresh green bell peppers, yellow meat watermelons, red seeded watermelons, and a few sugar babies left.

With all the rain we’ve had this year, fresh produce has really taken a hit. Crops have struggled and supply is getting tight, so what we’ve got in right now may not last long.

If you’ve been waiting to stock up on fresh produce, now’s the time. Y’all come see us.
