Working on handmade crafts for the Hogansville Hummingbird Festival
The batch of "forever plant" magnets that I made today definitely came out extra pretty. This one with the iridescent flowers and variegated leaves is especially gorgeous and I might not be too sad if it doesn't get sold.

It sure would look cute on my fridge. 😉

It is going to be a BEAUTIFUL weekend. If you are local to Troup County- or even if you aren't- come join us, Kaleidoscope by Pines and Pastures Homestead, at the iconic Hogansville Hummingbird Festival. There will be tons of vendors and artisans, food trucks, an art show, live music, a kids' fun zone, pet adoptions, and more! As for our booth, we are going to be LOADED down with all things bookish, botanical, and beautiful: tons of tropical houseplants, suncatchers, booksleeves and bookmarks (handmade by us!!), as well as fresh eggs from our farm and lots of other goodies.
This weekend, 15% of each sale in our booth will be donated to the Humane Society of Harris County, GA.
So come get something beautiful AND do a good deed.

Day 3 of the ick: a stupid headcold that's hitting hard and has me feeling all kinds of 🤧😷🫩.
But I toughed it out in the greenhouse today labeling and inventory-ing, and got most of it done.
Pictured is just SOME of what we'll be bringing to the Hogansville Hummingbird Festival this weekend, along with our handmade crafts, eggs, and more.
I don't know how we're going to fit it all in... 🤦‍♀️
I probably should have reserved two booths, but in my defense, we - thanks to you all - have grown a LOT since I submitted the festival application last year.
I do know that I will have two amazing helpers, Rachel and Luke, and we're just going to have to get creative with set-up.
