Good morning everyone.

I have unfortunately news to post. Due to a fungus that we are working to identify, we will not be open for public picking this year. As you can see from the photos, as they ripen a woody/unripe wound is on the majority of berries. Bruce and I have discussed this and we came to the decision that the berries are not up to standard for us to have you picking.

We plan on seeing what we will be able to do going forward, but the plants are old and stressed dealing with witches broom and now this.

Thank you for your understanding of this. We truly will miss seeing the people and the joy Pine Winder Blueberries bring to our community.

We're working hard with mowing raking and weeding to get the field in shape for picking. We have mowed a portion of thi field due to unproductive plants and encroaching witches broom. You know the story if you've been out.

It looks like a decent year and we look forward to having you here in a couple weeks. 2nd or 3rd week in July looks like when things will be rolling. We'll keep you updated.
