Roaming Road is returning to Boston Rum Week for a second year—and we’re bringing an exclusive first U.S. look at the opening releases from our forthcoming rum collection.
Our week begins Wednesday, September 16 at Silver Girl in Acton, where Silver Girl and Raising Glasses will welcome Roaming Road founder Mike Gilmore for Terroir & Table: A Single Cask Rum Experience.
Doors open at 6:30 PM for a guided presentation of six carefully selected Roaming Road offerings. Each measured tasting pour will be accompanied by a small bite inspired by the cuisine of its country of origin, creating a journey through place, climate, raw material, distillation and regional tradition.
Guests will be among the first in the country to experience three forthcoming Roaming Road releases:
• 17 Year Jamaica Hampden DOK
• 17 Year Haiti Barbancourt cane juice rum
• 4 Year Ghana pot still rum
The journey continues with an 18 Year Barbados Foursquare, an 18 Year Belize and a welcome cocktail featuring our 6 Year Martinique Rhum Agricole.
