Attention U.K. friends and followers! Looking forward to this upcoming chat with Peter Holland and Thefloatingrumshack.com on 6th July 2026.

Not gonna lie, it’s been a hot minute since we hosted an online tasting, but as they say, the best things come to those who wait, and we’ve got the best thing in the form of a Live Stream social media Rum Tasting with Mike Gilmore of Roaming Road Spirits on the 6th July at 7.00 pm UK time.

We’ve pressed Mike into telling us all about these bottled beauts, the selection process etc, and there will be more details to follow in that regard, but the key detail for you is that he has kindly supplied us with the entire range of Roaming Road Rums so we have a number of tasting sets available for folks to taste along with us. Free and for gratis, but you’ll need to register interest so that you stand a chance of having your name picked in the draw.

Conditions, conditions…
You must be UK resident. These tasting sets are not being shipped over international borders.
You must be at least 18 years old, or older. No underage drinkers please.
You’ll commit to watching the livestream (6th July 7pm UK time) to find out more about the Rums.

Please do not include your postal address. We will contact the successful applicants for a postal address after the draw is made.

Working on deciding our first bourbon barrel pick with Roaming Road Spirits! Mike handpicked these beauties for us, and this is going to be a tough one. They are all so good…

We are narrowing down to three tonight and revisit blind again tomorrow night.

What a fantastic evening representing
Roaming Road Spirits at the Mexican Embassy in Dublin! 🇲🇽

While I am away hosting tastings in Edinburgh at the moment, Roaming Road Spirits was proudly being poured at the Mexican Embassy in Dublin. I was sad to miss what was a fantastic evening, but thankfully Gabi stepped in and did a brilliant job looking after our bottles and sharing our spirits. We were also thrilled to bring along our friends at Two Shores Rum to add some incredible cocktails to the mix.

A huge thank you to the U.S. Embassy in Ireland for the introduction, and to everyone at the Mexican Embassy for the warm welcome. It was a wonderful evening filled with great conversations, plenty of laughter, and a real insight into Mexican culture and traditions from some incredibly welcoming people.

Guests enjoyed tasting our Venezuelan, Haitian, and Trinidadian rums, along with some of our Bourbon and Rye Whiskies, finished in Irish Single Malt Casks. It's always a privilege to see people discovering and enjoying the stories behind the spirits we bring across the world.

I may have missed this one, but I'm incredibly grateful to Gabi and the Two Shores team for representing us so well.

Day 2 over and out! 🥃

Thank you to everyone who visited our stand today! We were delighted to welcome so many people who had been sent our way by other stands at the show, and even more delighted when they brought their friends and family along too.

It’s been an incredible weekend sharing some of our favourite drams with you all.
