Bunch of silkie/satin chicks that need to go! Will give an awesome discount if you get 6 or more😁 Chocolates, chocolate showgirls, 1 lavender, partridge and blacks! Most are either missing a toe/have one 2 many toes or the two back toes are fused together.
Also have a polish pullet available, unfortunately her pattern is not what I want in my candycorn pen😕 (she dunked her head in the water bowl) will be in cda and Hayden on Tuesday around noon otherwise pick up in silver valley (Kellogg to rose lake)

I have three groups of chicks available. First group is 3-4 ish weeks old (could even be 5 weeks, I have lost track 🫣) second group is almost 2 weeks old and third is about a week.
**All the silkies are pet quality***
I NEVER let go of the lavender silkies as I’m trying to grow numbers In my breeding pen and this is something I have been working on for over a year but these guys are missing a toe on one or both feet and I’m trying to improve my birds so if someone wants some pretty yard candy🤗

I have some DNA sexed female black silkie/satins (split from my lavenders) and a few tolbunt polish available. Off heat during the day and starting to wean them off at night (still little and not coop ready) 15clucks each but will give a discount if you get 3 or more
Also if you haven’t used Panhandle Poultry Lab to get your birds DNA sexed you definitely should! Lilly is the absolute sweetest human and amazing to do business with!

I typically really love and admire popcorn spiders (cat spider/orb weaver) I find them extremely fascinating for someone who is terrified of most bugs and religiously checks under all my pillows/blankets and the ceiling before I go to bed 😅
But these guys are pretty cool and the kids love catching grasshopers to feed the 10+ spiders living on our wraparound porch, I even made my husband paint around a baby one a few months back (last three photos)
Well one recently made its home on one of my chicken coops, completely eye level and it’s been a little too close for comfort but I just go around its web and let it do its thing.
Well last night as I’m getting home at 11:30pm from my sons away football game, running around outside to close up coops, this thing strung its web across my walk way attaching to another coop and I ran RIGHT INTO IT!
Let me tell ya, this felt like a life or death situation and to say I FREAKED the F out is a understatement 😅
Thought for sure it was in my hair and I danced around shaking my head like a crazy person… found the dang thing on the ground and it has been relocated to a higher spot WAYYYY away from anywhere i walk, meanwhile I now have a new found deathly fear of them and
ALLL NIGHTTT I had dreams of it stuck in my hair😭😭

A little over a month ago the kids went to challis with their step mom to visit family and Hazleigh decided to bring home a duck egg…
I didn’t have very high hopes that this egg was gonna develop, let alone make it to hatch day after her carrying it around for about two days, was actually kinda hoping it was a dud because where the heck am I gonna put a duck 🤨
Well lo and behold the dang thing hatched and she is just over the moon about it…
It will either be looking for a new home in a few weeks or I may have to sneak in a couple more buddies for it 🤪

This has definitely by far been the hardest pen to get going but I’m finally starting to get eggs from most of them 😍🎉
