We are Thankful for every berry that was picked and enjoyed by you (our friends) at Shadrick’s U-Pick.

As we close our blueberry season today, we want to Thank You for supporting our little farm.

Please continue to support our Great American Farmers across our Nation. It means so much to us.

No Satumas oranges this fall,,,, snow got the blooms… but will see ya next year for sure!

🫐❤️🫐❤️🫐❤️🫐❤️🫐❤️🫐❤️🫐❤️🫐Melt one stick of butter in a preheated 350 skillet. Combine one cup of self rising flour, one cup of sugar, one cup of milk in a bowl. Mix well. Pour into the cast iron skillet. Spoon in blueberries over the batter, do not stir. Bake approximately 45 minutes or until golden brown.

With the cold weather coming if you have young citrus trees. Help protect them by taking dirt and mounding it up around the bottom up to 12 inches high around the trunk of your babies. This will help protect the trunk.
leave the dirt until spring time.
If you cover the branches, make sure to remove the covering as soon as the temperatures become above freezing.
Even if you lose all the leaves do not prune. Wait until spring and you should see new growth.
