It's been a fun busy couple of weeks with kiddos, teachers and families from Iola, Yates Center and Humboldt. Such good listeners! And the goats were so happy to see all of them...they were well fed! The turkey strutted. The rooster crowed, everyone did their part! Don was on his tractor and hayrides were loaded up and off to see what few vines and pumpkins we had. I got reports of turtles, birds nest, Monarchs, bees and so many fun things at the pond...including a Blue Heron.
My part was reading stories about pumpkins 🎃 and teaching about the vines and the life cycle. Next week brings more kiddos from Yates Center and pumpkin Volcanos!!
We will not be open tomorrow as there is a request from a special grandson to go to his baseball ⚾️ games. But we will be around on Sunday from 11 a.m. until dark. Hayrides will be going on.
