Hello everyone!
We have a bit of a desperate ask here. Back in last December we entered into an agreement to take in a larger number of OTTBs than usual. We were told they'd all be the usual young horses coming off the track but somehow we ended up receiving 4 older broodmares, the oldest being 21.
One of them has been adopted but we have 3 left and we simply don't have the financial resources to provide sanctuary for them. A couple of them are young enough to be able to be light trail horses with a bit of training.
We now have an amazing volunteer, Michelle, who is spending time with them 5 days a week grooming and exercising them. We did receive an intake donation when they arrived but we do not have the financial means to put them in full training, nor do we feel it's fair for the oldest to even go back to work. Two of them wear front shoes and they all require extra feed. They all live together in a large turnout so they have space to move around and be horses but we [desperately] need some sponsors for them until they find homes! (Please conract if interested in any of them, they are all sound and sweet).
Can we get a few people to help with tbeir feed? Each one costs about $250/month in hay and feed.
Two of them wear front shoes and one is a trim, shoes are $175 and trim $75 every 6 weeks. Can you sponsor a trim or a small monthly donation toward shoes?
Could we raise $100 x3 to get them blankets for the colder nights that will be here soon?
Treasure, Olivia and Charlie all need sponsors until they find homes, can you help one time or monthly?

New arrival! 🤩 5yr old 16.2 gelding by Ghostzapper X Malibu Moon. He finished last in his one and only start on the track despite selling for a whopping $575k as a 2yr old. He is quite a nice mover and put together very well. Cute face and lots of chrome including belly spots 😍 Stay tuned for updates and more info!

3yr old Moccassin is coming along great. Ridden here by our trainee practicing his steering and go button. Unplaced in 3 starts on the track and retired injury free. He has been in a light program for a few months and we're taking things slow as he's still growing and developing.

6yr old 16.2 gelding imported from Ireland. D.M.S won over a 1/4 million in 20 starts and he goes around like a seasoned hunter. This video is of his 2nd ride with a 16yr old rider. He is as steady as they come but also green so not quite ready to teach the most novice riders. He has some chips in his ankles from when he was 2 or 3 on the track but he has never been lame and while they don't affect him in any way we are disclosing this to avoid wasting anyone's time (especially his) so he can find a great home! He is a barn favorite with his quiet demeanor and gorgeous looks.
